sorry but i dont know of any actual tours.
but i know a bit about california.
depending on what you're after, i'd suggest taking your time, renting a car and driving from LA to San Francisco, the coastal road Highway 1 (or route 1 or whatever) is a cool drive. with some great stops on the way. Monterrey and Santa Cruz are great. Then theres loads to see and do in SF. From there you could take a really nice drive up into the mountains. Theres some greeat old mining towns in the Sierra Nevada mountains, Nevada City in particular is a great little, hip, hippy town. not really hippy, but kinda, and very cool, with a great art scene and lots of good local music to check out. thats on the way to reno, which is worth a look at the right time of year, which is also next to tahoe, which is fantastic.
from reno you can fly pretty cheaply to Vegas or the grand canyon.
have a good trip whatever u decide.0 -
Both Travel Scope and Travel Sphere do tours which take in LA and the Grand Canyon, along with San Fransisco and various places down the coast. The look really good tours and the prices seem quite reasonable.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0
