How are the payments decided?

Hi There,
I have been advised to post in this forum. We have a court case with an EA based on a verbal agreement only (despite so many requests to the agent for a contract which we could sign). We have been advised that the outcome could go either way! In preparation and with self-representation, we would like to know how the payment is broken down if we were to lose the case?
Does the judge take into consideration income, outgoings, mortgage etc and can we provide proof of this at our hearing? Can we make an offer of monthly installments whilst in the presence of the judge?
First court case, and no solicitor to represent us due to their charges so any advise would be appreciated!

We'd need to know more details about the court case to be able to provide proper advice.
I assume you're being sued in the county court for money you owe? If you lose you'll need to pay the full outstanding amount within 28 days othersie a CCJ will be registered (then converted to a satisfied CCJ once the total sum is finally paid off).B.A - Shut up fool!0
