Calulating postage rates?

Very new to this.I will be selling some unwanted clothes to start with.I have some digital kitchen scales at home.Could i use these to weigh the parcel,then use some kind of chart to calculate the postage by weight?Where would i find the charges?

Remember to measure as well as weigh, as there are different categories (letter, large letter, packet etc) :j Good luck with selling 0
