Epson has a banner offering cashback on certain printers, but when you go in and look at the terms and conditions it has expired. What leagality is there in demanding the offer to be honoured as it is still advertised?

None. you are fully aware the promo has expired so there is no reason to expect the offer to be honored0

I ask because there's a big banner suggesting that the offer is current, with no timescales but you have to click a button to find out in small print it's finished.0

Didn't Argos feature in a similar complaint on Watchdog last night?Abandoned0

Seems somewhat misleading. Didn't see the Watchdog prog. What was the outcome?0

Make a report to asa.org.uk, they'll get a slapped wrist0

Slapped wrist doesn't get me a cheaper printer!0

You cannot force them to honour it, especially in the linked T&Cs it clearly states it has expired.
They may get a ticking off on advertising but you will not get your cheap printer (unless you ring up and beg and get it through goodwill).Thinking critically since 1996....0 -

They did. For continuing to offer promotions after they had expired, for having items on the sale banners that weren't actually in the sale/weren't as heavily discounted as the banner claimed.
It was upheld by ASA but Argos weren't forced to honour it. So while a complaint may be upheld OP, theres nothing short of a miracle that will entitle you to that deal :PYou keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
