Afternoon all
I'm up to my eyeballs trying rapidly to learn about the rest of the world of digital marketing so I can apply for less specific jobs!
Happy Friday
I'm looking forward to a cosy night in with my lovely OH tonight in front of more twin peaks! Hope you all have equally lovely plans?
I'm working from home too, which means I should have a proper NSD, especially if we don't go anywhere tonight
Today I have/will:
- clicks and searches
- weighed myself this morning, 1/2 lb off
- been searching for something extra for dad's birthday present
- updated christmas spreadsheet
- will try and keep the heating off tonight
- all food from stores
- stop myself looking in semi- sealed pot
- do as much work as i can (there isn't a great deal)
- NSD
- pack for trip to parents tomorrow
Can't think of much else! Lots of love to you all
Clicking, searching and surveying my way to a life of debt freedom!

- Checked banking - £100 I wasn't expecting came out
- I thought because I'd paid over this to the cc then it wouldn't take the set-up direct debit (the online screen said 'we have received your payment'). Have had to transfer £100 to that a/c so now I start next month £100 down. Roll on overtime - will make it up on Saturday, but that money was meant to go towards a new bedroom carpet.
I work in banking. A Direct Debit will keep on coming out unless you actively cancel it.
However, under FSA guidelines if you want that money back into your account your bank should do that for you if you call and ask them. The bank I work for could get that money back in your account overnight tonight. I would suggest you call whoever your bank now and ask them to do that. Tell them it's an "unauthorised transaction" and you want it "recalled".Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -
Good knowledge, Ally! I've been thinking about it and I think I might just suck it up, esp because my cc is so high.

Just got an email saying I'm getting my quarterly bonus too so I shouldn't go moaning really. Next month I'll bear it in mind as I'm making little payments throughout the month.
Just listed a book for sale on Amazon - hoping someone opts for express delivery and I'll get £13. £7 something if not.
Other disbursement from Amazon is coming through too so that's another £6.
Every little helps and all that...
Also logged into Clubcard to check old clubcard vouchers and saw that I had some due to expire soon, from 2010! Think that was another ally tip too :T Got restaurant vouchers - going for a little date with OH on Sunday afternoon when I get out of overtime.
