Thursday 11th October - What small DFW things will you be doing today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important :money:
Morning :wave: Happy Thursday :T hope everyone is well. LPP so sorry to hear about your friend. I hope you are ok and have good people around you to balance out the sadness at the moment x
mil's citizen ceremony was really lovely, she was very proud and excited. Then we went back to theirs for champs and came home :T
today's efforts include:
* [STRIKE]check banking[/STRIKE]
* all meals from stores - more pea & mint soup for lunch and chicken noodle soup for dinner with lo chicken
* check onepoll
* [STRIKE]more address changing[/STRIKE]
* [STRIKE]send off friend's birthday card[/STRIKE]
* go to allotment after work for the first time :j
* go collect freezer food from colleagues house after allotment
* [STRIKE]NSD? [/STRIKE]
* might go for a jog later if I feel up to it
* [STRIKE]call and confirm we can just cancel our gym membership and if so do so[/STRIKE]
* [STRIKE]re-do budget now we're in the new house[/STRIKE]
That's it for me, nothing too exciting! We have our re-wiring in our house happening today :T first stage of the works!
Have a great day x
Made a call and filled in an online form for loft and cavity insulation and arranged a survey :T

) - took meat out of freezer for dinner

Hello lovely people

DNMS - sounds like a lovely evening yest. And check you with rewiring your house! Got a lot of work to do in it? It's so exciting.
Ziggy - that's so sweet about you getting your potrait done. I hope it gets pride and place above the fireplace
Stitchy - Ooh I like your thinking re candles - I've got a few little tubs that I've been keeping but never got round to actually making them. Might make it a 'must do' for November… Also need to get on with my Christmas crafting - no fairs for me though - just pressies.

Hi everyone,
Quickly posting before my lunchbreak ends as I've just spent most of it applying for a promotion! Fingers crossed...I hate applying using their online system as I get paranoid my application has not actually gone through...
I have some good news too my little car did me proud & got through the MOT with just an advisory that the front tyres are wearing a little on the edges, so not as expensive as I thought it would be :j
Today I have/will:-- Food from stores
- Leftovers for lunch
- Dinner from meal plan - may have to amend this slightly...meant to be toad in the hole but I don't think I have enough eggs! So may do bangers & mash as we have plenty of potatoes in
- Log calories using free app
- Charged phone at work
- Make use of free water/milk at work
- Staying in for my lunchbreak to avoid spending
- Check online banking
- Surveys
- Must declutter a bit & do some flylady
- Heating off
- Daily clicks etc on Sw@gbucks
- Applied for promotion!
- Free exercise on pole
- Study!
- Stay motivated!! Have felt quite down since the weekend so not done as much of my list as I'd like...must change that.

:starmod: One Poll. In a month I should be able to claim my £40.
:starmod: Check Quidco to see if £3.29 Airport Car Parking incentive has been paid.
:starmod: Look for Quidco No Brainers.
:starmod: Daily click on Kelkoo through Quidco to earn 1p for a search.
:starmod: Enjoy new electric toothbrush. £16 reduced from £60. And it came with two new brush heads so I can have one and my partner can have the other.
