gas safety check

my parents have used the same person to do there yearly gas safety checks, recently my mum has started to loose her memory and we cannot find the copies from prevoius checks done (if any)
recently the boiler packed in so my parents got in another guy to check the boiler which when he took it out it was completely corroded and my parents where apparently days away from carbon monoxide poisoning.
i have taken a photo as the gas safety man said that the boiler CANNOT of been checked properly over the years as the corrosion was so bad.
how do i find out what the previous boiler man has wrote down exactly what he did on the checks as he should if he had done is job correctly in the begining he would have noticed the corrosion.
desperately worried daughter.
any advice please

First and foremost I would check to see if he is Gas Safe registered0

Whether he's Gas Safe registered or not, he should be reported to them. They can investigate and access his records.
It would be useful if you can confirm to Gas Safe (approximately) when the previous checks were done - cheque book stubs or bank statements showing payments?A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
