old current account OD close bank?

Hi all,

Got my agreement in from CCCS and some stuff re direct debits from new bank a couple of questions looking for help on.

CCCS have asked to contact about arranging a direct debit but they included a mandate in their application pack that i returned so why would i fill out again is this just them making sure your going to pay?

New bank has sent through list of DD that they will take on but also sent a request to close bank account but i cant do this until OD is sorted via DMP assume i dont return this as bank account will need to remain open?

Other than that all seems on track no calls as yet but BC did bank the cheque but BOS havent for any of my payments and its been a week so we will see.

Did you get a new bank account for the DMP, it is usual for CCCS to send through the DD mandate as you need to sign it for them to start taking the monthly payment. It is perfectly ok to do this.

sorry it does say you have a new bank account, what do you mean by BC?

I was sure i sent through a direct debit mandate when i sent my statements and completed the application form that was all. I guess can do again just to make sure.

I would probably give CCCS a ring and ask them, it will only take a couple of minutes to clear it up.

thanks Heffi already been on the phone to them and they said just re-send anyway. Have also sorted out with the bank accounts and cancelled the right Direct Debits i dont need to instruct them to close the account.

also spoke to Barclaycard this morning they are putting my account on hold for 30 days and wont chase other than standard default letters until the DMP comes off ok. So just need to wait for HBOS as i dont default with them till next week. But have sent the letters.
and i was 300 quid less on my BC card than i thought. Does that count as a DFW way of saving today??
