Part-time Student Finance Household Income Threshold

Hi I am currently a continuing part-time student from the old fee system i.e. course and fee grants. However I am a little confused regarding the household income threshold in relation to eligibility for these grants. I have read in some places it is £26,000, however Student Finance have advised me it is up to £28,000. I am mostly concerned with the course fee grant, as I am sure I read somewhere that anything over £26,000 will make you ineligible for a course fee grant.
Any clarification on this matter would be gratefully received!
Thanks
