Any idea what has happened to ALL these cheap access calls.
What happens when you dial the number you get charged 12p connection and when you dial your number it then says, "you wish to call a mobile number in ***** you need to call 0870 which will charge you 6-7p pm
feeling very ripped off here, anyone the same? what's your experience?

The MSE International CallChecker does a nightly trawl of the various provider's sites and their latest website rates are then listed as appropriate.
If they have changed their rates by using such an announcement to divert a caller to an alternative, more expensive, number instead of changing the number on their website, that sort of situation will happen.
callchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/intcallchecker/Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
this is exactly what they are doing is miss representing themselves and should be reported, but to whom I don't know0

You dont give your final destination but i guess if you checked the suppliers site http://www.cheapcalling.co.uk/index2.php
as warned to do so by MSE, it would give you the up to date access number for your destination. If that is the case its your fault your ringing the number that no longer applies.

I used the link you posted and is just said its reached its 'band width' and the service was not available.
however going back to the list available I found one that worked for 3ppm
so thanks0 -
Also worth noting that there are many other providers not listed on the MSE call checker. A quick search for on Google will bring them up.0
