travel insurance for long trips

Morning everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had come accross any really good deals for longterm travel insurance? My parents are going on a 3 month holiday and have been quoted some pretty high figures for insurance. You can't seem to get any of the usual offers if you are away for that length of time.

would really appreciate any tips - thanks.

    Just signed up with Insure and Go which gives 90 days at a good price. That is multi trip but can get single trip for up to one year!

    I never get any, as sometimes when i go abroad i never know how long i'll be staying for.

    Combo Breaker First Anniversary
    dont know if it will be of any help but when i was looking for travel insurance for a friends daughter who was going to stay with her father in malaysia for three months it was around £100 for the single long stay trip, however if we said she was backpacking (the exact same trip!!) it was around £60!
    finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!

    English not your first language?

    I too would have suggested insureandgo's Annual Travel Insurance.

    90 days per trip only sometimes covers my trips, but it's a LOT better than nothing.
