Did anyone use to have one of those Dymo(?) plastic tape labellers years ago?

I had a small plastic yellow thing, you fed the plastic (?) thin tape in one side and rotated the big front dial to select whatever letter you wanted then you clicked the machine and the letter would be embossed on the tape, You rotated and clicked until you had your label, you peeled the back off and stuck it to whatever. :D

I have a load (and I mean a load) of plastic boxes neatly set on on several shelf units I want to label neatly and I kinda thought this type of tape might be the way to go.

I think paper tape and labels will get tatty quicker.

Any suggestions or thoughts on what might be better to use?
