Online conveyancing

can anyone recommend a cheap online conveyancer - i know they are slow but im hoping to sell 50% of my flat (its a shared ownership scheme) its already in negative equity so i can afford to pay loads for conveyancing so the cheaper the better really counts here. Im only selling not buying.

Online conveyancers have a very mixed press on here.

Your sale does not sound straightforward and I would not have confidence in an online conveyancer to handle it well, to be honest. Apparently the vast majority of work is done by non-qualified employees, who are supervised (and I use the word in a loose sense) by a qualified person.

I pity the buyer who has the other side of the transaction.

I have used NBMEason of Ashby-de-la-zouch for a purchase and a sale. Total cost including VAT was around £600.

They were excellent and stuck to their quoted price even though the house sale took place more than a year after the purchase. I don't suffer fools and this is a stressful process. These people are really good and completed my sale in 6 weeks. There is an online tracker which is a very useful backup to the personal service.
