Has anything been put in writing? Even at this late stage, and their admission that site security was lacking, leading to the second disturbed night means you'd like 50% of the fees paid refunded.
As you're being reasonable, they may be likewise.0 -
i can fully see where your coming from, its a double edged sword. on one hand the site would have the back up that the police wouldn't be able to do anything, until they kicked off, but the issue boils down to they employ a security team, they haven't done the job properly as they wpuld have heard seen the noise, they i would argue that.
it doesn't matter what goes into the planning of the weekend, thats not taken into account, at most they may offer a refund of the 1 ngt stay or a discount off a future stay.
i had an incident, back in 2oo5, where I nearly got sexually assulated in my hotel room because a member of the reception team gave a local man my room number, - I got moved rooms that ngt in the end, the police were involved, I had the rep involved, (who wasn't happy at 2am...... do u think i was), and all I got offered was £100 off another holiday!!xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Just received call from campsite, full refund being processed & sincere apologies. Very pleased. Dont think I'll return, but fair play to them for offering full refund as opposed to a free weekend.0

wasnt a campsite in Towyn by any chance? Had a similar experience with one there.
Packed up after the first night (had a weeks stay booked) and asked for a refund as their lowlife guests were seemingly booked for the season. People were leaving in droves because of them and people who'd been camped on the site for years were dismayed that nothing was being done.
We were issued a refund without argument though and moved to a site a few miles down the coast that was 100 times better.0
