Article on mothers with NPD in the Daily Mail

Hi All

I frequently find myself astonished at the number of posters on this board who have mothers/fathers with NPD (narcissistic personality disorder). I'm lucky to have a brilliant mum & dad (although they live on another continent these days), and it's very sad to hear that not all parent-child relationships are "normal".

I read this article with interest - some of you might like it too.

Seeing as 80% of people have children it's a fair bet that some parents will be arseholes.

Like you say though - it's a shame for their children. If having kids doesn't make you examine yourself and try to step up a little, then nothing will.
