Been in our house for 28 months have decided to sell. Question to you is shall I put new floor down in kitchen? We have had whole house plastered and decorated and front and back gardens done, as well as new work tops, tiles in kitchen, we got a cheap floor and have regretted it ever since.
With moving costs etc don't know whether it is worth spending more money or will the house speak for itself

I'd have thought it very much depends what the existing floor is like: if its in a sound condition, but looks scuffed and dilapidated, then some cheap floor panels may well help sell the house.
If the floor is in an acceptable state, then you may well be putting down a new floor which your buyer (hopefully!) may just take up, in favour of a floor s/he really likes.
If you're going on the market with an agent, why not ask for their advice?0 -
