Which internet service provider for student house ?

Hi My daughter will be sharing a house with 5 other people and they want to get internet access. They will obviously being doing a lot of downloading, using skype etc ... Which internet provider would be the best one to use as we dont live in Uk anymore, so have no idea what the best deals and service providers are, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Since broadband is exchange-specific, there are no universal 'best' deals.
Start with an exchange search on https://www.samknows.com for the available LLU providers on her exchange, they will be the cheapest.
Bear in mind the minimum contract length if they'll only be there 9m.
Is there already a working landline in the property? If not this will be necessary first for any ADSL broadband service-the only alternative is VM cable, if available.

Virgin Media do 9 month contracts for student accomodation.

Have a brose through this. Keep in mind Unlimited on a rolling monthly contract is not going to be cheap.

But see if you can get Virgin Media, it might be you best (and maybe cheapest) option.
