The time when the british police either had the best reputation or were thought to have it has long gone.

I didn't say it was my opinion. And it certainly isn't yours. But it is the opinion of many people worldwide.

Whatever your 'Join Date', Jamie, the fact remains that you are post junkie.

Though the souls seeking to correct your nonsense are also to blame.

Please, don't feed the Post Junkie!

How about minding your own business.

I'm not one of those people who spends all day posting on forums. But when I do come on here there may be several posts that I want to reply to. So I may make several posts. Is that ok with you, your highness?

What is nonsense is a matter of opinion. Just because you don't agree, doesn't make it nonsense. I could also say that your post about me is nonsense. So get down off your high horse, and accept that people have differing opinions.

    No. Off with his head!

Yeah, but my opinion is the only one that matters in my posts.
I could also say that your post about me is nonsense.
    But you'd be talking nonsense.

I could say the same to you... Oh, hang on several other posters have been doing the same for the last nine pages and it's bounced off your shell so far.

...Where's the executioner? I said Off with his head!

And if you think I am being silly, Jamie, you turned this thread into something ridiculous pages ago.

Even back in 1976 there were people who did not believe they were the best in the world.
Funnily enough, back in 1876 there were people that believed that too.

Remembering the minors strikes and the disgusting battle of the bean field, I feel the police have only got better over the years.
The scrutiny officers are now under, is higher and better than ever. Whilst no one has said they are all perfect, in my mind at least, they are probably better than they have ever been.

Actually it is several people who refused to hear a balanced view about the police. And the come down on anyone who dares to say anything that might be even slightly possitive.

Careful...they will shoot you down in flames for daring to say anything positive about the police. ;)

    It's page 8 post 157 or so.

On another note, could someone please teach Jamie the wonders of multi quote? This thread would be half the size! :rotfl:

I know how to multi quote. But I would rather answer each post individually.
