Nationwide lending criteria

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me what Nationwide's lending criteria is for personal loans please?

My partner applied for a Nationwide loan today having been referred to them via Expedia. His soft search came back as successful and so he rang them today to get (as we thought at the time) comfirmation. When his details were imputted by the lady on the end of the phone, he came back as outside lending criteria and they refused the loan. He meets all criteria on the website so I was hoping someone could tell me what criteria they use that they don't publish.

Well thats the thing from what ive read on the forums no 1 knows the criteria used by NW and other lenders otherwise everyone (who wants a loan) would be aiming to put themselves in a position where they would fit the criteria.

I do know each lender has they're own criteria for who they lend to irrspective of what the credit report says.
