Need some advice!!
Hi,
Basically I need your help. A year ago, Sept 11, I went through a bit of a family crisis where I had to leave my job to look after my mum. It was a really bad time and to make things worse I was no longer earning money. Stupidly, and I know this was the worst thing I could do, I decided to get a payday loan, I then ended up getting another, and another and ended up with about 8. They would then start to try taking payments out of my bank, which my bank was declining and charging me for. Then my bank allowed a couple of payments, putting me massivly overdrawn and no idea what loans I still owe and what are paid. I ignored letters and phone calls from these companies as I had no way of paying them back, and was going through a lot of stress I just blocked them out. In February this year I moved house, and havent told any of them my new address. Lloyds have closed my bank and I cant get a new one as I have such bad credit. Luckily I found out I had an old Lloyds savings account so my wages now get paid into that. I am really struggling at the minute to just get through the month, so there is no way I can afford to pay these companies back right now. Please can you advise me if I should contact these companies and tell them my situation, or just hope they go away. Each loan was for about £400-500. What will happen next, as since I moved and changed phone number I havent heard a thing from anyone. Any help would be appreciated. Im worried about contacting them incase I am in loads of trouble, but then I dont want to ignore them and make it worse!!

It will not go away so you need to do something about it now otherwise it will get worse as i imagine there may well be a fair few charges added on . Id tell them the situation and that you cant make full payment but a reduced payment but before you do that Id suggest you complete an SOA and postit on the dfw board, others will pot and suggst where you can cut back eg lose sky tv, reduce your spending on food shopping etc. Im sure theres a link for the soa on the dfw board or a link that explains what to do. Might have missed soemthing but im sure those more experienced will add what ive missed.
