Hello All,
So, we have a 2nd time viewer coming tomorrow - things are hopefully going to go well enough for him to put forward an offer.
However, we go on holiday on Thursday for 10 days. We know what we can get for our next mortgage, although haven't applied for the mortgage yet [we'll be topping up our current one with HSBC] and have only just starting looking around for houses. I really don't want to put the potential buyer off by the fact we'll be away.
So what's the best plan of action? What would I need to get into place before we go on holiday, if we do accept an offer to ensure we don't lose the buyer?
At the moment this is all hypothetical, but I want to be ready just incase!

PS: Never sold a house before either!

I wouldn't worry too much about it - chances are solicitors etc. are on their holidays in August so nothing will move particularly quickly!0

You are only going away for 10 days not 10 months don't worry
Start sorting things when you come back, the buyer may not put an offer in straight anyway.
ETA make sure your estate agent knows your away0
