Solicitor recommendation

Hello!

I'm currently getting some quotes from solicitors for when I move house, and I wondered if anyone could recommend any good, not ridiculously overpriced, London solicitors?

I also wondered if anyone could advise me on whether solicitors ever accept payment via credit card, or if you can take their fee out of the final sale of your property?

Thanks in advance.

Solicitors tend to take there fee out of the sale proceeds before you get the rest ( so making sure they get paid! )

London is very expensive as you know so why do you think you can find a " Cheap solicitor "

That's good to know that the fee can be paid from my house sale, thanks.

I'm not after a 'cheap solicitor', mainly just people's recommendations of solicitors in London that do a good job, and don't overcharge for it, that's all.

when comparing quotes, look out for hidden 'extras' especially with the cheaper quotes.

London is a big place so you might want to be more specific. Most people prefer to pick a solicitor in their local area to make it easier to meet them for signing documents and dealing with queries.
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!
