Hi all
I'm looking for a good day out from Yorkshire to anywhere in uk, looking for full day early start 7am and get back for 11pm.
3 adults, bit of sight seeing, lunch then just out drinking and seeing the bars and clubs early evening.
Where's the best place to go, good full day, value for money. really want to do London but restricted with time , flying is best option but is over £150.00 from local airport same day return.
Ideally looking at Friday 6th April or earlier in week.
Any ideas will be much appreciated.

This is a big question. I mean, I have lived in London for nearly all my life and I am still 'Doing London,' it is an endlessly fascinating city.
I don't know what you like, but I have been to Manchester and Birmingham recently, and both were what I would call great days out.Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. - Proust0 -
We went to York on the train-about 2 1/2 hours each way,and it was great-loads to do , loads of eateries etc.
Or come up to Edinburgh-same times on the train if you are already in York-castle,dungeons,parks,castle,crown jewels, loads of bars, shops etc.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
