In the new Argos catalogue they have a Mio M614LM Sat Nav cat no 504/3983 advertised as having free lifetime map updates and free case but when you go on the website it brings up a different model with no mention of free map updates.
So what's the correct offer the catalogue or the website ?

I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.

I think only argos would know what is correct and which one is the mistake.0

The next model up does have free map updates but costs £119.
If I was to buy the £99 one and found that it does not have free map updates as advertised in the latest catalogue are they then obliged to upgrade me to the more expensive model ?I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.0 -
no.
You would expect to be put back in the same situation as before you purchased it. So a refund.0 -
I've just bought one via Argos home delivery, and yes it came with a code for free lifetime map updates. As it only arrived Friday just gone I've not yet set it up and registered it online.
One little tip that might be useful.....I got mine after applying for an Argos card to take advantage of the 6 months interest free credit. You can apply for it when in the checkout area. Also, if you can add something to the order to take the value to £100+ them you'll get a free £10 Argos voucher.
Hope this helps. Mark0 -

Really? I'd have thought you should be put in the situation you would have been in had Argos correctly fulfilled their side of the contract.0
