Faulty ring?

Hi all, am wondering if anyone can give me some advice.
My engagement ring was bought from H. Samuels in august 2010, it has 3 small diamonds and several tiny diamonds, about 2 weeks after it was bought one of the tiny diamonds fell out, I took it back and they apologised and sent the ring off and had it fixed.
The same thing happened again a couple of weeks ago - this time they sent it off for an estimate and have quoted me over £150
Now I don't think I should have to pay this - as obviously it isn't well made, and I was just wondering where I stand with this?
I don't know if it makes any difference but it was a £600 ring. I didn't get insurance.
Thank you in advance

Rings and diamonds falling out come up fairly often on MSE. Have you tried searching for others experiences?0

take it to an independant jewellers for advice. I am sure they will be much cheaper than H samuels.0
