Tax credits paid early?

This weeks tax credits have come through a day early-normally thurs pay, but paid today. I have already done the renewal a while ago and the amount is the normal weekly figure so not sure why lol.

Yes its an early payment due to holiday - Battle of the Boyne - in Ireland. I'm usually paid on a Friday but my bank says its pending for tomorrow instead. http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/taxcredits/payments-entitlement/payments/next-payment-due.htm#30
