Buying a house for cash

I have pure cash 200,000 to buy a property. I would be looking within the M25 as my budget. I just wanted some advice on how long it can take (as i am looking to move quite quickly) also when would be the best time to do it ( i have heard about the price crashes after the olympics??)

Are there better places to look also?websites? I've looked at globix, prime location and rightmove.

Are there best places that will take cash more quickly for property? I want everything above board so I no I am putting my cash into a family home for me and my daughters. Also I have no income.

People have said go for repossessions? Auctions? However there are down sides to this. Work/ money etc

I currently have no income and will be using the money I inherited to pay my private landlord his rent that's why I would like to buy my own place outright and also I have the ability to now buy a bigger place for my children.

Thank you.
