Hi guys!
Currently claiming JSA as my temp contract ended last month. I have seen several jobs I want to apply for but I am getting mixed messages when trying to work out WTC/CT/HB/CTB etc. I plan to move to a different area and have told my advisor this. She did BOC and gave me the data- with some benefits I will be able to pay the high rent, so I was pleased.
Now, I have tried using the Tax Credits calculator, Entitledto and the one on the Gov website. All of them are different!
So, basically I want to know which you guys think is the better one to go by. I have been inputting information from all the jobs I have seen, as they vary with pay and hours. All I need to know is if I can afford rent, what I don't want is to rely on a calculator that says I will be fine, only to move and find out I can afford to live
