eBay payment notifications?

Hi all,

I made my first ever sale on eBay yesterday, and I sent an invoice to the winning bidder.

My question is: how do I know when they have paid me? Does eBay or Paypal send me an e-mail, or do I simply have to keep checking the websites (if so, where am I checking?)

This bidder has 100% feedback, and many have commented on their quick payment, so I am a bit worried that they have paid me already and that I am completely niave of it. I want to post their item asap when payment comes through, as for a first sale the feedback is pretty important.

Am I just fretting? Any advice?

All being well, it should show up in My Ebay and it will definitely show up in paypal. You should also get a notification email from paypal, but don't count on it, and remember that some people try to fake these emails... so if in doubt, check your pp account.

sometimes the emails take a while to come through, if they are paying by paypal you could check your paypal account, see if the money is in there..
