Halifax changed the date!

I'm so annoyed! Halifax were offering £100 to switch to them from your present current account and said the closing date was 23rd March. I rang up today (19th) and they said they had changed the date and closed the offer on Friday. I assume they're allowed to do this, but how incredibly irritating.
