New car but a faulty one on a hire purchase!

Hi Guys and Girls,

I've just recently brought a car from Fiat, an 09 plate! Was very excited to get it, etc etc etc.

Firstly, they tried to sell me the car at a higher price than advertised on there website... so I had to have an arguement regarding the price.

Then had to wait a week to get the car serviced and to a fit state to buy.

Then three days later, the radio started to switch itself on and off as you drive along, then the next day the dashboard became like blackpool illuminations with every light coming on and off.

Took this back into the garage to be fixed, "sorry miss you will need to return the car back to us when we have more time to look at the problem. At the moment it is one that we will have to ask you to live with" I was least impressed.

Two days later, the petrol gage stopped working, the speedo and then the indicators... amazing enough they had to check when I called to see if this was safe! I refused to drive it and said I'd return it. Within an hour, my car was collected and a hire car delivered, after telling me for almost a week there wasn't one available! Amazing!

Now into the third day, its been sitting in their garage, and still no one has even looked at it - apart from taking it for a test drive! Ironic as you don't need to drive it to see there is a problem!

It is under warranty so any repairs are not at my cost! However, I've brought it on a part ex, deposit and hire purchase agreement! I've spent so much time running back and forward and constant phone calls!

What are my rights to return? Please help anyone? ... very stressed :mad:
