    I thought that was a really good deal, especially with the Freeview HD and 5 year warranty, but I've read some comments about it, on Hotukdeals, for example, and they aren't very complimentary.

    Me too. They're branded as Toshiba but made by some firm which is on a par with the cheapo no-name TVs you see in supermarkets.
