I'm with click energy. I haven't been able to enter meter readings for two weeks now because their web site gives up when I get to the confirm screen.
They set my monthly direct debt at £65 per month when I'm actually using £25 per month in the winter. Despite being assured that it would be changed it wasn't. So I cancelled the dd at the bank. I assumed that they'd take more interest when I owed them some money. A bill for £88 arrived today.
I'm now going to work out how they arrived at this number despite my account being just in credit last month.
I don't think I'm going to waste much more of my time with this bunch on incompetents. Off to Uswitch for a look.

You should have told BG how much you were prepared to pay each month - that is what I did!0

Have they recalculated your bill using their standard tariff by any chance? IIRC, having an active direct debit set up is a prerequisite of being on the Click tariff.0

You don't have to pay by direct debit for click2, but you do for click, so yes tomstickland will probably be moved back onto the standard tariff.
They have got rid of the premium rate telephone number now and replaced it with an 0870 for click. Still bad I know, but have you tried giving them a call? Or call the general callcentre, they'll probably still deal with it anyway.0 -
Yes, I tried and was assured that it would be sorted out. But it wasn't.Paul_Varjak wrote: »You should have told BG how much you were prepared to pay each month - that is what I did!Happy chappy0 -

Your best option is to switch suppliers, as they have had plenty opportunity to get it sorted! Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
