They will get you there, and get you back, probably late. I like Air India, they are a 'little different'. Great food, bestist ever on any airline ever (but I love Indian food).
TBH, if Virgin were £40-£50 more expensive, i'd pay it though, just for reliability.0 -
I heard that air india have a fleet of very "old " planes, they dont have screens on the backs of seats, the cabin crew are not approachable or helpful.
But yeh the food is good - shame about everything else!0 -
Southall Travel are usualy very competitive but take a look on https://www.ebookers.com just to see how much of a good deal you are getting. If a direct flight is not important, I'd recommend Swiss - the service is excellent and the transfer is usually very quick. If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0

Air India not too bad though normally very busy.0

Try giving Gandhi Travels a call in Leicester - they are quite cheap - probably cheaper than internet. Also try gulf airlines website, expedia & teletext0

I have never flow Air India (despite doing a lot of work in India) but whenever I am waiting at an airport, there are signs up about delayed Air India flights, and lots of unhappy passengers milling around looking and sounding miserable. Unless price is of absolutely critical importance, and punctuality not at all important, choose another airline. There is plenty of competition on that route: BMI can be cheap; and the Swiss website is currently advertising some very competitive special fares.0
