Debate House Prices
In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non MoneySaving matters are no longer permitted. This includes wider debates about general house prices, the economy and politics. As a result, we have taken the decision to keep this board permanently closed, but it remains viewable for users who may find some useful information in it. Thank you for your understanding.
An alternative to the belly achers who cannot post on Housepricecrash.com

There is a constant stream of belly
aching on this board about Housepricecrash.com, usually from the same suspects who are banned.
Why anyone would want to post on a one way opinionated board is beyond me, MSE has it's issues but at least over censorship is not one of them.
Here is a site that might interest some of these "property bulls", they are now in the last stage of censoring and banning nearly all property bears. They banned about 90% of property bears nearly two years ago because of sponsorship worries, and now have half a dozen near full time Bull posters, Kingofnowhere, MrTed, and a few others being the most obnoxious.

So here you go, post with like minded people with no oppostion, sooner you than me.

Its about time that this board was renamed as "Debate the Economy" and dropped the house prices reference.
Maybe this would get rid of some of the tedious posters on the subject and their multiple login identities."When the people fear the government there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is liberty." - Thomas Jefferson0 -

Where's the fun in that?
I prefer it here, where the gloomers and house price vultures like you get obliterated on a daily basis with hard facts.0 -

Who are the doom mongers?
And what are they doom mongering about?
For the record, I think the inflation figures are great news.0 -

Plenty of bears left on TMF.
But the forum is there to discuss house prices and the potential investment opportunities they present. It's not a platform to campaign against homelessness or other social issues politically minded individuals want to ram down peoples throats.
Maybe they should do the same on MSE.If I don't reply to your post,
you're probably on my ignore list.0
