Lloyds Current Account

:A Hi,

Is there any point in keeping this account if you are not using it? I originally got it for the 2 year monthly saver but I can see that this has been converted to the 1 year monthly saver.

Any advantages or any point in keeping this open? Or is it better to get it closed to reduce paperwork, PIN numbers, etc. and keep things nice and simple by just having 1 or 2 bank accounts?

Anyone know of any offers Lloyds may be offering in the near future regarding monthly savers??:A

You could "use it" to switch to one of those banks offering an incentive like RBOS and BofS and earn £100.

When does your two-year monthly saver mature? Those currently in force have not, of course, changed to one-year.

Hi, thanks for your speedy replies!

LittleVoice, I originally got it for the 2 year monthly saver.... but i never got it opened! I dont really want the hassle of another regular saver so do not want the 1 year monthly saver either. So its just a current account doing nothing at the moment.

Missle, you mentioned the incentives.... I have been looking around but cant find anything... are you aware of any incentives to open a current account anywhere?

Well, as you've more or less missed out on the save the change offer and you aren't doing a regular saver of any kind, I don't really see the point of having a current account you don't use.
