I don't think supermarkets are nice places for children who could get bored sat in the trolley.

I tend to shop online which has the bonus of avoiding crying children. Not their fault I don't like the whine, so easier all round that I avoid it :o
Dear Lord, I am calling upon you today for your divine guidance and help. I am in crisis and need a supporting hand to keep me on the right and just path. My mind is troubled but I will strive to keep it set on you, as your infinite wisdom will show me the way to a just and right resolution. Amen.

I feel sorry for tod(dlers) in forward facing pushchairs in supermarkets. After all, what do they have to look at but other people's backsides, especially when in queues.

I spend a lot of time looking at sweaty men's crotches like Tod's as I use a wheelchair. It would make me want to scream too
    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHR:eek:
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Screaming feral toddler in shop, shop at home
Screaming feral toddler in restaurant , eat at home

I would prefer to tackle the problem of spoilt children and poor parenting values

Tod next time you are shopping and some ankle biter is screaming and carrying on, go up to said child and start talking to them. They will be left dumbstruck by your fascinating conversation. Problem solved, simples!

    Go for it, Toddy.

I'm sure you'll have more success than governments have had/are having.

Did you complain at Customer Services about this feral (sic) toddler?

Now that would be a conversation worth overhearing.

Just how small was this supermarket anyway?
Are you saying that you could hear this child anywhere you went in the store?
Or maybe you muttered something under your breath about this child and its Mum heard you and decided to follow you around the store just to hack you off even more. :rotfl:
