To enter the competition, upload a maximum of two photographs that you think best capture the 'Spirit of the Olympics' to the Amateur Photographer Gallery.
The images do not need to show the London 2012 Games or events.
Entrants must use their imagination to explore the Olympic theme and what it means to Britain and the rest of the world. Photos can range from jolly street parties and Olympic flags flying to athletes preparing for the competition of their lives and torch bearers running through your street.
The theme depends on how you interpret it, so let your imagination run wild and be creative.
