Full Terms & Conditions Asda / Hellmanns BBQ Prize Draw

1. The Prize Draw is open to UK residents aged 18 or over except employees of the Promoter and employees of Asda, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
2. To enter simply complete the official entry form found either in the June 2012 edition of the Asda Magazine or the Hellmann's 'Spark Up Your BBQ' pack (available in selected stores only) and send to Hellmann's 'Crown Your King or Queen of the BBQ', FREEPOST RRLT-EEAS-XBSJ, PO Box 7557, Derby, DE1 0NP. Alternatively, you can enter online at www.asda.com/hellmanns by completing the online entry form
3. The Hellmann's 'Spark Up Your BBQ' pack can be obtained from a Hellmann's demonstration colleague in selected Asda stores. The packs will only be available to customers on 1st June 2012 from 11am – 5.30pm, 2nd June 2012 from 9am – 3.30pm, 14th or 15th June 2012 from 11am – 5.30pm and whilst stocks last
4. Opening Date for all entries (postal and online) is 25/05/2012. Closing Date for all entries (postal and online) is 31/07/2012 12:00 (GMT). All valid entries received before the Closing Date will be entered into the promotion.
5. Promotion limited to one entry per person. No entrant may win more than one prize.
6. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. Incomplete, illegible or corrupted entries or those not in accordance with the entry instructions will be rejected. No photocopies of the paper entries will be accepted.
7. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed in the post or as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of posting or sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Entries will become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned.
8. Prize: 10 x £500. There will be 10 winners in total, made up of 5 pairs. Each pair of winners will each win £1000 worth of Asda gift cards (£500 each). The first winner of each winning pair (the 'Nominator) will nominate the second winner of the pair (the 'Nominated')
9. The first 5 valid entries drawn at random in the presence of an independent adjudicator from all entries received by the closing date will be the Nominators and win £500 worth of Asda gift cards. The draw will take place on 03/08/2012. The Nominators will then select the Nominated winner(s), who will also win £500 worth of Asda gift cards.
10. In the event of any dispute the decision of the adjudicator is final. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value. No correspondence will be entered into.
11. The winners will be notified by email or post within 28 days of the draw date. The winners must claim their prize within 30 days of the notification (date on the email or later).
12. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the promotion rules.
13. The winners' details (name and county) will be made available on request to those writing to Hellmann's 'Crown Your King or Queen of the BBQ', PO Box 10220, Sutton Coldfield, B76 1ZH within ten weeks after the published closing date, enclosing a SAE.
14. The winners may be required to participate in other publicity arising from this promotion.
15. By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. All entry instructions form part of the rules.
16. These terms and conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues.

i just noticed, but as you fill in the form it shows up! use the tab key! I suggest you
do not use roboform on this one!

I don't get this one. You enter and pick a person...but why? Who wins the thing, them or you? More to the point you're giving their details to Asda without asking them surely?
Wierd comp. What use is the nomination at all as far as the comp is concerned ?
