Hi, i have been trying to reclaim my PPI from Pacific home loans, the loan itself was taken over by GE Money so i filled in the forms found on here and sent them to GE money, today i have recieved a letter advising i need to go to Pacific Home Loans to get the PPI back and not them, they have advised that whilst GE money provided the finance for the PPI they didnt sell it to us.
From what i can find out Pacific were bought out by London Scottish who have now gone into administration so im not sure where i can go from here.
If anyone can direct me as to where to go from here i would really appreciate it.
Thanks Jodie

Try the Financial Services Compensation scheme which is used as a last resort. They are contactable on 0800 678 1100 or 020 7741 41000

The provider is not liable for the sales person or adviser/broker that you used. You have to complain to the person that sold it to you.
Depending on the date you bought the PPI and the status of the broker/seller/adviser at that time, you may or may not have access to the FSCS.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
