i have been with british gas for quite a few years for their homecare 400 with annual service and i pay them £586.68 annually included in this agreement is the following..service & repairs for central heating system, plumbing repairs & unblock or repair internal and external drains, repairs to fixed electrical wiring systems, parts and labour included, no call out fee in your contract year, annual service visit, repairs to internal gas supply pipework between meter and any appliance, accidental accident cover, dedicated 24/7 helpline. RIAS for the over 50s are doing the same deal for £179.04 annually with the same as british gas. i contacted british gas and informed them of RIAS and they dropped my price to £502.32 wow. How do two companies come up with two very different prices. im going to RIAS. Of the over 50s out there give RIAS a call on 0845 234 0117 to see what they can do for you.

How they do it is by providing a similar headline service but find ways of not actually providing it. Hope you don't have a problem.

Looking on the Rias website there is no comparison to the BG cover. I have the same cover as you but would not trade it for the other. I would suggest comparing the policies closely.
