I have recently fallen foul of this company. I received an e-mail, stating that i could buy an Oral-B Electric Toothbrush for £1.00. I inout my bank details, and on 08/06/2012, they deducted £45.00 from my bank account. I e-mailed them asking for my money to be refunded. They have unsubscribed my membership, but have stated that I will still VIP until the period I have paid for, expires.
Can someone please help me with the next step, as I want my money back !

I have carried out more research on Pointshop.co.uk, and it does clearly state that for the first 14 days of the VIP subscription, they would charge £1.00, which they duly did, and that if you did not cancel the subscription after this period, they would deduct £45.00 every 30 days for continuing your membership with them.
What I will say, is that you MUST read the T's & C's before paying anything to Pointshop.co.uk.
I was a bit lackadaisical and didn't read the Terms, tough lesson learned.
I did have an open dialogue with my bank, as I was slightly concerned that they may deduct money from me again and they advised me that even if they did cancel my current debit card and change my bank details, this was not a cast-iron guarantee that they would not deduct money in the future, as they would contact Visa for my new card details and deduct the money (which I was a bit shocked about, to be honest!!).
The best way forward, I was advised, was to keep an eye on my account, and if any further monies is deducted from my current account by Pointshop, to contact them again, and they would open up a dispute case with Pointshop, (I have now cancelled my subscription, and duly received a confirmation e-mail, as evidence that the subscription has been cancelled and no further monies would be taken).
If you cancel your subscription, they are bound, by law, to send you confirmation to advise you that the subscription has been cancelled, and no further deductions will be made from your account, so make sure you get this e-mail after cancelling, and remember to check your Spam filters for this e-mail, if it is not in your Inbox.0 -

Maybe that's another question you need to ask them.0 -
if you haven't purchased anything, or entered your card details, that sounds like fraud.
I would send them an e-mail, and also contact your bank as soon as possible, & ask them to open a dispute case, and they will investigate..
Hope this helps.0
