I'm getting fed up now
I went for an interview yesterday. From what I have heard is is a glorified admin role. I had passed the first two stages (I had to write a letter stating why I wanted to work for them and then I had a telephone interview) and yesterday was a competency interview and a case study. I have never had a competency interview before but I went through an agency and they gave me loads of preparation so I was quietly confident, also one of my friends got a job with them recently so she gave me some tips. The agency had told me that basically as long as I had prepared I would get the job.
I just got a call from the agency with the bad news
I didn't even get any feedback.
I graduated two years ago and haven't had a sniff at a good job. My mum was seriously ill a couple of months after I graduated and she is now on home dialysis, which I do for her. I guess maybe this is hampering my job search. I don't want to get a job too far from home because I will still be needed to do the dialysis after work. But then I don't want to be working in a shop for the rest of my life. I live just over an hour away from london by train and I have been looking at london jobs as well as jobs closer to home. I just don't seem to be qualified for anything.
All the graduate jobs I can seem to find are really competitive schemes and specialist jobs which I'm not qualified for. I got a 2.1 in Psychology which seems to be good for nothing really.
Does anyone have any good website/agency recommendations I could try?
