I've just stumbled on this completely by accident, but I will stress it is a text message competition (£1+VAT) BUT proceeds will go to building a school for displaced children (More about it HERE)
The prize which will be given, once the campaign has ended and following the pertinent draw, is a SEAT Leon Cupra “Pies Descalzos” special edition valued at €35,000, taxes and registration and transport costs included.
Under no circumstances will the said prize be exchanged for its cash value.
Anybody wishing to take part in this promotion by this means should send an SMS to the number assigned to their mobile telephone operator with the word “SEAT” followed, optionally, by their e-mail address preceded by a space.
The cost of sending the SMS will be approximately €1 + VAT, depending on the operator and the country. This amount, once operators’ charges and taxes on SMS, will be handed over to the “Pies Descalzos” NGO.
Once the SMS has been received, the operator will reply with another SMS (and SEAT will send an e-mail message where an address has been given) to the participant, thanking them for their contribution and confirming their entry in the draw.
