i) Yes, I am. Theft is theft, irregardless of the method;
ii) You already have.
After a couple of sensible posts I thought you were back on the level; heavy bank holiday weekend I imagine so letting off some steam?
On a side note, my viewpoint on this is the OP posted some genuine questions and genuine motives and ACG and other gave factual, useful answers. Then we came onto a bit of government bashing and all up for that, the system is shot although you do not blame the players, you blame the game..!
Then the most agitated member, rants about the economy, boasts about their business and drops a nut by saying the £2.5k (that is net) tax a year they pay should go to a good home...
Boy, assume you have not been PAYE employed for a while..
Nothing sinister meant, just my observations...I am a Mortgage Broker

Who made you the arbiter of what is and what is not sensible?...you do not blame the players, you blame the game..!
I reject that idea. They're both to blame. Maybe the players are to blame more in fact. They are afterall, the ones that perpetuate the status quo.0 -

Next you will ask me to define sensible...
If the game was not available, no-one could play..
Long weekend - I'm off so no clever responses necessary
Good luck OP

But I think I know what you mean. In a way you're agreeing with me. The system is broken. The only disagreement we have is that you think the people that routinely abuse the system ought not be be held to account. You'll come around eventually.0 -

I take it thats aimed at me......I don't pay £2.5K a year tax , I earn £32k gross and from the governments online calculator I am a net contributor of +£2.5k to the Government coffers after taking into account all benefits.
Just to clarify I pay Class 2 NI and also Class 4 NI of 8% of my profit on top of the income tax.
Oh and my "boast" was in reply to an insinuation that I had to work 60hrs a week because I may be living beyond my means, which I'm clearly not.0 -
Wow was just after some advice!
If it helps I will clarify I am not receiving any hb or any other benefits, and I also paid full rate tax when I was working full time before kids. Unfortunately I'm in a position where I have to rely on the government for a very short while (youngest child in school from September at which point I can work full time).
Thanks to everyone who offered advice.0
