Hi,
I own a cafe and bought a large refrigerated display unit from a company last February with a 12-month guarantee.
In both June and Novermber I had to call them out to look at it over a fault, and they told me to "monitor the situation over the next few months."
I have done that and it since isn't right, but now it has gone past the warranty deadline. I believe they should fix it for free because I reported the problem within the 12 months, yet they insist they won't because the 12 months has now expired, and I haven't called them since November.
It isn't a major fault, which is why I haven't called them more recently, but it is becoming worse.
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Thank you!

I can't help specifically, other than to say this will likely have been a B2B transaction and as such Consumer legislation won't apply.0

Thanks Ian. Can anybody else help?0

Have you tried the manufacturer?
Consumer legislation doesn't apply to B2B transactions so you are bound by the contract you signed. What does that say?Thinking critically since 1996....0
