I am looking to buy either a wooden or plastic shed for the garden. Would like to get one about 8 x 6, but would need somebody to put it together for me. Has anyone any recommendations for decent firms in the Essex area. I have a budget of approx £500. Thanks for reading this.

I'm sure this will be way over budget but there is an amazing shed place on the way to Romford, more like cabins! Will try and remember name. Wickes is ok but the problem is finding help to put up.Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
I got mine from Alton Garden centre on the London bound side of the A127 at Wickford, I couldn't find much on the internet about their shed range, but it is worth a drive there to see what you will get for your money and the price includes putting it
up.
It's just the base you will need to sort out but they will normally do that for a price.
Wherever you go see how well made they are and try to get one made from tongue and groove as it is better quality.0 -
I got a great shed from a company based in Lawford, just outside of Manningtree. They delivered and installed - the quality is great and they are able to customize (if needed) as they make it for you rather than being a flat pack0

Hi Charcoll. Which company is that? I live in Colchester so would be interested.
Also on the topic of sheds some friends of mine got a beach hut- still going strong after many years.0 -

Asked my dad where he got his from a few years ago and he got his from here: http://www.rainhamsheds.co.uk/prices.htm
They arrived when they said they would, friendly and helpful and did an excellent job fitting it.
He was so please he got a summerhouse from them a few years later, and very nice it is too
