His my Daughter claming all she is entiled to?

hi,
i have a 19 year old daughter with Downs syndrome, she currently attends collage 4 days a week doing a Foundation to living course. she receives DLA at lower and middle rates with help for Personal care and getting around.
also EMA of £30 a week.

I believe she is claiming every thing that she is entailed to but a friend at work has said that she should also get incapacity benefit has she is unable to work.
but i am sure i am right in saying that this is only available for people that are unable to work or attend collage.

Thanks for any help or advice.

I believe you can claim the child related benefits OR your daughter can claim ESA.

Perhaps you could look into how much she would receive on ESA and decide which is more advantageous. She will need to claim ESA later this year anyway.

Thank you for your replays this is what i thought, that has i get child tax credits and child benefit she wouldn't be able to claim any thing more till this stops when she is 20 then she will most probaley go onto ESA.
will look further into it nearer the time.
