Ryanair refund

Hi,
I have just booked an online flight with Ryanair. I made a typo and put the wrong date in. As it was a one way flight it was actually cheaper to book the same flight on the correct day. Does anybody know how it may be possible to get a refund on the original flight? I have had no joy at all with the numbers they have provided (at £1 per minute!!).
Many Thanks

Short of putting a knife to O'Leary's throat I'd say it's next to impossible. It certainly isn't worth the effort0

Ryanair don't do refunds. Refunds of taxes, etc. can be done in theory, but the admin charge they apply basically means you'll get nothing form them.0

Don't waste time on this. We had an incident about 5 years ago when the site crashed and we had no way of knowing if the Friday night flight had been booked. As we didn't get a confirmation email we then booked the Saturday morning as the Friday price had gone up. Surprise, surprise we then got two confirmation emails. A flurry of faxes and letters later we had no refund. They claimed they would have refunded us if the bookings had been for the same flight.0

You've got more chance of getting a nosh of the Queen than you have of getting a Ryanair refund.0

I made a flight booking to Singapore last year. Unfortunately on the booking confirmation it had Ms instead of Mr in front of my name. I called less than half an hour later to correct the mistake, but it was already too late. They cancelled the Ms booking and told me to book the ticket again which I did. This time I made damned sure the correct Mr was on the booking.A week later they refunded the amount for the wrong booking less a £35 fee for the privellege. I guess it taught me a lesson!0
