PARIS: travel and attraction entry costs

Hi.
I am going to Paris this week.
I have been told there is a pass you can buy that gives unlimited travel on the public transport, and also entry into The Louvre, and other major attractions.
Does anyone know what this is? And what other money saving tips do you have for Paris. (apart from the usual like not eating in expensive touristy street cafes)
